Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Quieroz has confirmed the club are tracking Porto defender Jose Bosingwa. Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson is thought to be drawing up a list of targets as he searches for a long-term replacement for Gary Neville. With doubts surrounding Neville's fitness and Wes Brown set to leave at the end of the season after rejecting a new deal, Ferguson is keeping tabs on the progress of Boswinga, among others. United have showed a liking for the Portuguese market after bringing in Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani and Anderson in recent years, and Bosingwa could be next. Queiroz is quoted in the Daily Mail saying: ""There are some Porto players good enough to play for United if they want to Jose is one of them. "He is a very good player and we are keeping an eye on him." Aston Villa are also thought to be keen on Bosingwa as Martin O'Neill looks to bolster his defensive options.
